What is this course about?
Increasing numbers of grant-making bodies are looking to invest in voluntary organisations by offering core or unrestricted grants. This is good news for the sector but throws up some new challenges for fundraisers. This session will look at the background to the change, which funders are giving in this way and what you need to take into consideration before an application.

Who is this course for?
It’s for trustees and staff with fundraising responsibilities.
As an advanced level course, participants are expected to have previous experience of developing project funding proposals, and a grasp of their organisational finances. The session will build on this previous experience by distinguishing approaches relevant to applications for core funding.
