This training course aims to equip social enterprise leaders with the skills to understand impact and to build effective impact indicators to enable effective communication of your benefits.

  • Understand how to define and measure impact 
  • Understand the differences between impact and evaluation

Understanding impact is important for social enterprises because it enables them to: 

  • Demonstrate their social and environmental impact to stakeholders, including funders, donors, and customers 
  • Measure the effectiveness of their programmes and services 
  • Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions 
  • Show accountability and transparency to stakeholders 
  • Attract and retain funding and investment 
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders 
  • Comply with funding agreements 
  • Develop a culture of continuous learning and improvement 

By reporting on their impact, social enterprises can showcase their social and environmental benefits, quantify their outcomes, and demonstrate their commitment to creating positive change.

This course is set to run online using Zoom. To take part, you will need a laptop with a camera, microphone, and Wi-Fi. You will not require any additional software, and you don't need a Zoom account or to download the app to take part, but you may wish to do so.
