THRIVE: Mental Health & Wellbeing Awareness
This session is aimed at anyone involved in a charity or community group who wants to improve their understanding of mental health and wellbeing, and how they can support anyone experiencing poor mental wellbeing.

What is this course about?
This online session will develop your understanding of mental health and wellbeing, the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, and how to respond to people experiencing poor mental wellbeing. It will also cover communication skills, self-help resources, and sources of support locally and nationally.

Who is the course for?
- This session is free to all.
What else do you need to know?This course is set to run online using Zoom. To take part, you will need a laptop with a camera, microphone, and Wi-Fi. You will not require any additional software, and you don't need a Zoom account or to download the app to take part, but you may wish to do so. You will be emailed an invitation with a link to join the online training the day before the course. The course is interactive and the subjects covered can raise emotions so you will need a device with a microphone and video to participate. Please test they are working before the training starts. The room will be open 15 mins before to allow you to settle in and check your technology works.
