Mark is a community development specialist with a 20-year career in community regeneration and project management. In that time he has founded and led a number of community regeneration organisations. He is a founder and Managing Director of Lemon Gazelle CIC which supports the development of Charity and not-for-profit companies, locally, nationally, and internationally through training and consulting services.  Mark has also been the Director and Senior Partner of several other not-for-profit organisations, including those supporting Special Educational Needs Children, bridging cultural divides and providing decision-making tools for complex and controversial issues. Through his work across sectors, Mark is committed to working to broker solutions through partnerships with public bodies, community groups, businesses and other agencies, ensuring that all voices are heard in the process. A large proportion of Mark’s work is providing expertise in organisational development. This includes issues around money, whether budgeting, planning or fundraising strategies, strategy and operation, as well as organisational structures, governance and legal structures. Through a mixture of working with volunteers, leading companies and being a running and youth football coach for many years, Mark has developed a training / consultation style based on active listening, nurturing and enthusiasm!
